What is recruitment?
Nowadays the statement that people are basic capital of any company requires no proof, and the demand for highly qualified, first-class staff is inexhaustible. Professional workers always were and always will be required. It will be also a never-ceasing backlog demand for highly qualified specialists from the top-managers of the companies, and it is necessary to be able to satisfy this demand. It is an unalterable law of any business.
The meaning of the word "recruitment" comes from the French word "recruit", which literally means to enroll somebody, to levy, to hire for money. The notion of recruitment is relatively new for Ukraine. Today this term implies search and selection of qualified specialists. As opposed to employment assistance, when an applicant pays an agency its fee, recruitment companies set up a contract with a company -employer and the latter pays for their services.
